Ibiza At Night : Your Ibiza Nightlife Guide
Ibiza is known as a nightlife hub where people come from all around the world to experience world-class DJs and parties. Ibiza at night is truly magical! And outside of the mega clubs and huge parties, there’s tons of Ibiza nightlife to experience after the sun sets, between Ibiza Town, San Antonio and all of the other island hotspots.

Ibiza at Night 🎉 For People Who Love to Party
There’s a reason Ibiza is known as the best party island in the world! Ibiza parties are known for extravagance, having some of the best music in the world and just being a nonstop but civilized party during the summer months. I wanted to visit Ibiza at least once before my husband and I started a family since I love music and dancing, and I’m so glad we did!! The energy there is surreal and the fact that there are tons of things to do each night of the week for all budgets makes having a great party vacation much easier.
Ibiza Nightclubs : Experience the Best Party Island In the World
So you’re heading to Ibiza to party? You’re going to have the time of your life! Having an overview of the Ibiza nightclubs before you go is a good idea to make sure you aren’t totally overwhelmed once you get there between all of the famous DJs, famous clubs and nonstop parties.
The island is likely bigger than you realize, and getting around can take quite a bit of time. Combine that with the long entry lines if you show up at the wrong time, and you could end up spending a lot of your vacation waiting around for the party to start.
The clubs are mainly split between the Ibiza Town and Bossa Beach areas, and San Antonio, which are on opposite sides of the island. There are also a few scattered elsewhere on the island. I created a map specifically for the Ibiza Nightclubs which you can access here: Ibiza Nightclub Map
The two most popular mega clubs are on Bossa Beach near Ibiza Town, which is usually known as the best area to stay in Ibiza, Hi Ibiza and Ushuaia. Hi Ibiza has an out of this world sound system and design that come together for an incredible experience. Ushuaia Ibiza is a massive outdoor venue which looks similar to what you would see at a music festival complete with fireworks. Pacha is also an island staple and historic Ibiza club with roots in the 1970’s, which looks more like your typical club but with a really upscale vibe. You’ll also find smaller Ibiza clubs in this area like DC10, Lío Ibiza, Club Chinois and Destino, which is a pool party venue.
Amnesia is the other mega club you don’t want to miss and a staple on the island, boasting two huge dance floors with lots of strobe lights, confetti and of course world class DJs. It’s right in the middle of the island. Cova Santa is an intimate outdoor venue built around an ancient cave and also has a small indoor club, which has shows most days during the week. You can also do a dinner package at Cova Santa so you can watch the show while you dine. The Las Dalias night markets also have a new and underrated Ibiza nightclub contender, Akaska, which has one of the best sound systems on the island and is located about 40 minutes north of Ibiza Town.
Not to be forgotten, San Antonio is where you’ll find Es Paradis, which is home to the famous Fiesta Del Agua Ibiza, and Eden, which are two of the island’s oldest clubs. Pikes is also on that side of the island, which is a 27+ club in a historic mansion which has been a popular party spot since the rock n roll days. Check out the Best clubs in Ibiza guide at my other blog for more info on the best Ibiza nightlife venues.
How to Find the Best Ibiza Club Nights & Parties
The best nightclubs on the island offer a weeklong schedule and parties most if not all nights of the week, each with a different type of vibe and music playing, through the summer season. A few examples of the best Ibiza club nights are the Fiesta Del Agua at Es Paradis, Afterlife at Hï Ibiza and Elrow at Amnesia.
Read my guide to the best Ibiza club nights on my Inspired Backpacker blog for more info on individual parties!
Tip: I thought when it comes to Ibiza parties, everyone would be jumping around and having fun no matter where we went and that wasn’t the case. Certain club nights will attract a more serious type crowd while others will attract a more care-free fun loving crowd, while most are somewhere in between. In general, Ibiza club nights at Hï and upscale places like Pacha will attract an audience that is more likely to be standing around on their phones rather than dancing, while places like Amnesia and parties like Flower Power at Pacha are more fun and high energy Ibiza club nights which attract the more loose and dance-y crowd.
Ibiza Nightlife Alternative : Best Ibiza Bars
If you’re looking for things to do in Ibiza at night without the crazy clubs there are more than enough bars to hangout at. Ibiza Rocks is probably the best and most well know Ibiza bar in terms of a party scene. You can guarantee a good time here once the sunsets and the energy picks up after midnight! If you’re into the Irish pub scene, San Antonio is your place, where you’ll find a few Irish pubs like Shenanigans and Flahertys.
A few of the other best bars on the island are in Ibiza Town. Picture small, intimate, dimly-lit spaces, both live music and DJ music, and both indoor and outdoor spaces and environments. Keep in mind these bars will usually be more chill than the clubs with less dancing and more of a cocktail vibe. One is exception is Paradise Lost which usually has a more lively vibe.
Ibiza Beach Clubs At Night
Playa d’en Bossa is home to the island’s best beach clubs for day time lounging, but also some of the most underrated Ibiza nightlife. I haven’t gotten to experience any of these parties yet but they are on my list! The beach at night can be magical.
Playa Soleil is a newer beach club which has weekly parties which go on until the early hours of the morning. BeachHouse has a few weekly parties which go until about midnight including the BOHO experience.
Sunset Boat Parties
If you’re a boat lover like I am you don’t want to miss the sunset boat parties! It doesn’t get much better than Ibiza nightlife on the water, complete with DJs, dancing, live music performances, snacks, drinks of course, champagne showers and endless open water views. Some even stop for a swim stop! A sunset swim in Ibiza sounds magical. Aftersun is one example of a sunset boat party in Ibiza, but there are lots of different vendors. You can find multiple options on the Ibiza Spotlight party calendar.
Ibiza At Night Outside of the Parties ✨ Everything the Island Has to Offer
Outside of the parties there are so many options for things to do in Ibiza at night. You’ll have NO trouble adding in some more tame nighttime activities for your Ibiza itinerary. Explore the cuisine in Ibiza, watch the sunset, visit one of the night markets or see a show.
EAT! Experience the Best Restaurants In Ibiza
The food scene in Ibiza is underrated. For an island known for their nightlife it’s no wonder the restaurant scene is great, and a night out at dinner can feel like a nightlife experience without having to be squished in a club if you want it to be. If you don’t, there are tons of choices for a low-key laid back dinner and delicious food.
Keep in mind that in Ibiza dinner is a little later than in the United States. The dinner scene really picks up around 9:00pm when the sun sets over the summer season, and goes right up until 11:00pm or midnight. Some of my favorite times in Ibiza nights were spent sitting at a dinner table, either in the center of the beautiful Ibiza Old Town with street performers to watch or right on the sparkling ocean as the sun sets and DJ music plays.
Experience An Incredible Dinner At Sublimotion
Sublimotion is more of an incredible nightlife experience than a dinner restaurant, located inside the Hard Rock hotel. It’s one of the world’s most expensive restaurants and well worth the $1,500 per person price tag if it’s in your budget, combining state-of-the-art technology, surrealism, wall projections, a perfectly crafted soundtrack, brilliant design and best of all a 20-item tasting menu by ten Michelin Star chefs. Add this one to your bucket list!!
Watch the Ibiza Town Come to Life While You Eat
The best place to eat dinner in Ibiza is in the historic Old Town and UNESCO world heritage site. Right inside the Dalt Vila you’ll find the lively historic old town of Ibiza, with narrow cobblestone streets, live music and street performers. I recommend trying La Torreta or Pino Dalt Vila.
Dinner at One of the Ibiza Beach Clubs Under the Stars
During the day the Ibiza beach clubs are lively and great for day time relaxing and hanging out, while at night they turn into atmospheric high end dinner spots. With sand under your feet, palm trees overhead and the ocean breeze, this is a great thing to do in Ibiza at night for couples.
Hippy Market Ibiza : Explore the Night Markets
Something you can do in Ibiza at night which is really unique to the island are the Night Markets at Las Dalias. During the day the Ibiza hippy markets are bustling but can get really hot and crowded. At night the atmosphere is magical, where they usually will have live music and colored lights, and a more laid back vibe. Plus you won’t have to deal with the Ibiza heat! You never know what you’ll find to bring back home.
Ibiza At Night For Cocktail Lovers : Best Cocktail Bars
There are tons and tons of places to grab a cocktail on the island of Ibiza. You’ll read below about the Ibiza Sunset Strip, which is a beautiful place for a cocktail. There’s also the many bars of the Ibiza Old Town and Eivissa port, beach clubs and countless restaurants.
S’Escalinata
S’Escalinata is a really unique bar placed on steps right inside the Dalt Vila, perfect for people watching!
Enjoy the Ibiza Sunset : Best Ibiza Nightlife Experience For Couples
One of the best thing couples can do in Ibiza at night is to enjoy a sunset over the sparkling mediterranean sea. There are lots of places to watch the sun go down where you can experience the natural beauty of the island. Below are the best places to go for an Ibiza sunset.
Café Mambo in San Antonio : Experience the Sunset Strip
Ibiza’s famous sunset strip in San Antonio is one of the best places to have a few cocktails on the island and one of the best Ibiza nightlife experiences. Although restaurants and bars on the sunset strip can be really pricy, they have a perfect view of the setting sun, plus DJ performances and a great atmosphere overall. Cafe Mambo is one of the bars you’ll find there, which sometimes has surprise famous DJs. Keep in mind there will be a minimum spend of $100 or more per person.
Sunset Ashram
Sunset Ashram is at the beautiful Cala Conta beach. This is the most beautiful place to watch the Ibiza sunset, either while sitting and eating at the Mediterranean fusion restaurant or during one of their sunset meditations. Make sure to make your reservation before your visit!
Ibiza at Night : Showtime!
An often overlooked Ibiza nightlife option is to go see a show! Both of the best shows are on the Ibiza Town side of the island.
Lio Ibiza
Lio Ibiza is the best show on the island. It takes place on the marina in Ibiza Town and it’s a cabaret style dinner show. After the dinner show, stick around at the nightclub.
Teatro Pereyra’s Ibiza Hippie Heaven
Ibiza Hippie Heaven at Teatro Pereyra is a high energy, broadway style music show with an optional dinner package which tells the story of Ibiza’s history. The theatre itself is beautiful too! You can get your tickets here.
Children of the 80’s at Hard Rock Hotel
Children of the 80’s is a show that is perfect for any 80’s rock lovers, older generations or anyone who likes the more old school, reminiscent type music. While this is a show with performances and lots to look at, you should keep in mind it will have more of a concert feel to it, with people standing and dancing – so you’ll get the best of both worlds!
If you’re into the more 70’s and 80’s style rock music, make sure to read my blog about where you can find the best disco in Ibiza.
Go to the Movies
Seeing a movie is the perfect night time activity in Ibiza for families with teens or on a rainy day. Near Ibiza Town is the Cine Regio theatre, and in Ibiza Town you’ll find the gorgeous open-air Cinema Paradiso.
Check Your Dates for Special Events
With Ibiza being such a festive place, you can imagine it’s also a place to go for some great annual events, lots of which have activities and performances to attend in Ibiza at night. Some favorites are Carnaval, the Ibiza Lights Festival and the Annual Flower Festival. Check Ibiza Spotlight’s event calendar for your dates to see what’s happening.
